Eatons
Eaton's in Llandudno is a modern venue combining a deli, café, wine bar and farm shop
The Rosedene is room-only — which means your morning is yours. Here are the spots we actually recommend.
The Rosedene operates on a room-only basis throughout the season. This is a deliberate choice — Llandudno has several genuinely good breakfast and brunch options within a short walk, and we’d rather point you somewhere excellent than offer something adequate in-house.
The places below are our honest recommendations — from artisan coffeehouses on Mostyn Street to charming seaside cafes a short drive along the coast.
The breakfast and brunch spots we recommend most often — all within easy walking distance.
Eaton's in Llandudno is a modern venue combining a deli, café, wine bar and farm shop
One of the most loved independent coffeehouses in North Wales — Providero on Mostyn Street serves locally roasted speciality coffee, seasonal brunch dishes, homemade cakes and a genuinely warm, community-minded atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Walk-ins only — no bookings taken
A genuinely beloved community cafe on Clonmel Street — home-cooked breakfasts using local ingredients, Norah's legendary steak pies, Yvonne's daily-baked cakes and the kind of warm, unhurried service that makes it a firm favourite with everyone who finds it.
Walk-ins welcome
An iconic Llandudno institution on Mostyn Broadway — Forte's serves what many visitors call the best ice cream in Wales, alongside excellent waffles, crepes, milkshakes and a cheerful seaside atmosphere that has made it a town landmark for decades.
Walk-ins only — can be busy in summer
A charming seaside cafe right on the Rhos-on-Sea promenade — freshly brewed coffee, excellent pastries and waffles, hearty breakfasts and the combination of salty sea air and warm welcome that makes it worth the short drive from Llandudno.
